Charlie's Gymnastics Meet

While I'm in the throes of a furniture refinishing project that is sucking up all my time, let me mollify the grandparents and other members of my kids' fanclub with this video of Charlie at his last meet. Gymcats did all the work and put the video on youtube, so all I had to do was link it up here. They also did the work of editing out the part where Charlie threw a panicky look at his coach just as he was starting his parallel bar routine, and then bolted to the bathroom. I knew it was coming, he was doing a little dance the entire time he was on deck waiting for his turn. They were nice enough to give him a do-over when he got back. Obviously it was a proud moment for his parents, and also a rare moment of hilarity in an otherwise humorless and intense (but awesome!) sport. My favorite part of this video is hearing his little buddies on the team cheering for him.
