I forgot to mention Antonia's gymnastics festival as one of the activities causing all the commotion in the month of May. It would have also been Charlie's gymnastics festival, except that we have yet to convince him to participate in an event involving a solo performance (see also: piano recital.) Unfortunately we're relative newbies to the world of gymnastics festivals, so we arrived at the wrong time and missed Antonia's class performance time. Not to worry, she was allowed to perform with the "big girls" in the older class, and she didn't seem to mind at all. When the big girls did their little floor routine/dance, she was right out there doing it with them, despite having never done it before.
It was hard to get many good pics or video, because of the masses of adoring parent-fans, but I tried. So without further ado, prepare to be astounded at the skills of three months' worth of balance beam practice:
