Where to begin...

First of all, this picture is not very recent, but I felt like I should have pictures in my post and it's just not convenient right now to get the recent ones. I am, however, not sure what else should go in my first post ever, I feel like I should try and retroactively cover everything I can remember from the recent past that might be of interest to my blog readers...but, I don't really have the stamina for that kind of project right now. I'll start with this week.

This week flew by, as most weeks do. Some highlights of the week were:

1. Charlie telling my that my hair was messy. (It was; I had just woken up, so I was not offended.)
2. Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time at my doctor's appointment.
3. Crossing the halfway mark of "War and Peace" (that would be page 700 or so) I never thought I would get there, and now I'm wondering if I'll ever finish....The Clark County Library says I need to finish by March 19 so that's what I'm shooting for.
4. Wondering what to make of Charlie's cryptic comments "hair crying" and "snowman all gone" and "butter shoes" (I think that last one could have been "better shoes," but that doesn't make much more sense in the context.)
5. Watching Charlie eat. This never gets old, NEVER. If you've ever had the chance to see it, you understand.
6. Watching "Lost." I think if you've seen this, you probably understand.
7. Tackling several projects that have been looming since we began the business of making over our bedroom; all the big things (painting walls, buying, painting and/or installing furniture, etc.) are done and just little things are left (hanging pictures, etc.)
8. Hugs and kisses from both the guys in my life. (Cheesy, but true, OK?)

I'm sure I could have listed eight or ten more Charlie-related highlights, because 85% (that is a carefully researched number that my statisticians have come up with) of what he does brings me some kind of joy and entertainment, but I'll try and stick to what's most interesting to other people.

And that is all that I have for today.

That was a really long second sentence. It's nice to see you using the internet though. Now there are more people I can claim to be friends with without actually talking to them! I was also very excited to see a picture of me in your slideshow - even if I did have my eyes closed. Jason thinks I need to wise up and learn how to put a slideshow on our blog. See you this summer!
